Wasted space, reimagined as the home's best asset.

This project took an unfinished, largely unusable attic and turned it into a fully functional second-floor addition — transforming the house into a spacious four-bedroom home without expanding its footprint. A new rear dormer unlocked the headroom and floor area needed for two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom, giving the homeowners flexibility to grow into the space — whether for family, guests, or a dedicated work-from-home setup.

The adjacent flat roof presented an unexpected opportunity. Rather than let it sit unused, we reimagined it as a private roof deck — extending the home's living space outdoors and creating a distinctive spot to unwind, entertain, and enjoy the surrounding views.
