ADA ADU

Independence, right in the backyard. For this client, we built a studio-style ADU so their aging, wheelchair-bound parent could live on their own — without being far from family. It's a compact space with a kitchenette and a fully accessible bathroom, including a roll-in shower and roll-under sink to make everyday life easier. Windows on three sides fill the studio with natural light and great views, so it never feels boxed in. Roll out onto the deck for some fresh air, or just hang out and watch the grandkids play in the yard. And as a nice bonus, the space underneath the ADU gave the homeowners a bunch of extra storage they didn't have before. At the end of the day, it's a home that helps someone stay independent while keeping family close.
