Stonehill College

KR Architecture and Interiors has partnered with Stonehill College and its roofing contractor across multiple summer construction seasons to keep phased roof renovations moving campus-wide. With only a tight summer window to work in, every project demanded tight planning — fast enough to stay on schedule, careful enough to keep campus life uninterrupted.

Our role: documenting existing conditions, working with the structural engineer to assess the roof's capacity, and delivering permit-ready drawings the contractor could act on — drawings that made the scope, structural requirements, and roof assembly upgrades clear to the local building department.

The result of that ongoing collaboration: aging roofs addressed, code requirements met, and a durable foundation for the college's long-term maintenance plan.
